To grasp the breadth and depth of the Stewart Brothers campaign for “Fundamentalism,” one need only look at the titles and especially the authors of the various tracts. Among the writers were to found some of the leading minds of evangelical Presbyterianism who, though not all sharing the Stewarts’ millenialist views, were nonetheless eager to make common cause against liberals like Harry Emerson Fosdick of New York’s Riverside Church.
